Kai-jj.JPG

Kai and J.J. Johnson, the very famous trombone duo seen here in the mid-fifties.

Kai's quote, "When we had a session to do we'd divide the arrangement between us. At the end of that period, ...we made over a dozen LPs which have been reissued time and time again...At the end of that period we decided to go our own way for many reasons but always remained friends.

Nothing to do with conflict in our relationship. I decided to go with a multiple trombone group featuring four trombones...."
