This CD contains tracks from three Warner Brothers original LPs that Tom Jobim did in the 1960s, including "The Wonderful World of Antonio Carlos Jobim", "A Certain Mr. Jobim" and "Love, Strings and Jobim"* - as well as previously unreleased bonus tracks. The tracks from "The Wonderful World of Antonio Carlos Jobim" were all arranged by Nelson Riddle. The tracks included from "A Certain Mr. Jobim" were all arranged by Claus Ogerman, including the bonus tracks * from that album.
*An explanation concerning the
"Love, Strings and Jobim" album--which does not actually contain
performances but only contains compositions by Tom Jobim can be read
at the listing of "Love, Strings and Jobim".
