Antonio Carlos Jobim, "Live At Minas", DRG [Brazil] #31612 (2006).[CD]

This 1981 live concert by the Brazilian bossa nova master was his first in 20 years, and was dedicated to his writing partner Vinicius De Moraes, who had died less than a year before. Accompanying himself on piano, Jobim's frail, melancholy vocals give this program of his best known songs, including "Desafinado," "Eu Nao Existo Sem Voce," and "Corcovado," an unusual air of stillness and gravity.

Recording live at the Palace Of The Arts, Belo Horizonte, Minas, Brazil (03/15/1981).
